Hello helpme,
Thank you for your post. As far as an easier way to map repeating data to multiple SharePoint lists, there is a much easier way. What version of SharePoint/InfoPath are you currently using? The method uses qRules to set up a connection to each of your lists. In order for qRules to work, you will need sandboxing enabled on your SharePoint site.
The best part about using qRules to do the mapping is that it is entirely codeless, and much easier than using CAML!
Here is a link to the method that uses qRules mapping: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2012/06/27/qrules-submittosharepointlist-walkthrough-for-v4-2-working-with-existing-data-amp-submitting-a-single-mapping.aspx
Here is a link to more info about qRules: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_overview.aspx
Hope this helps!
