I'm working on a project where we have staff filling out Infopath 2013 forms on windows 8 tablets while working offline. When the user clicks a button at the bottom of the form I'd like the form to be automatically named based on some of the fields and saved locally on the tablet to a Microsoft OneDrive folder. Once the tablet comes online it will then update the OneDrive folder on my end and I can submit the form on their behalf into SharePoint.
From the research I've done I believe that this can only be accomplished with custom code, can anyone confirm if this is the case?
Is there anything else I should be considering for offline form usage? I did some testing with Formotus and from a cost perspective it didn't seem worth it for us.
We're running Office 365 with InfoPath 2013 and SharePoint online if that matters.
