Validation Rule comparing field value to a phrase including the word "or" is splitting

In an InfoPath 2010 browser-enabled form that is published as a content type to a SharePoint 2013 form library, I have a multi-line text field that is pre-populated with specifc text.

I am trying to add a validation rule that enforces that users change the content of the field, and ran across a bizarre issue.

The pre-populated text contains the word "or", and as a result, InfoPath is spliting the rule into two separated by an or statement, as depicted in the attached image.

Pre-populated text: Please specify whether Telecom Mobility should 1. Retain Device and Phone #, 2. Change Phone Number to Relocation Local Service, or 3. Deactivate.

Thanks, any help will be appreciated.

    Cori

That seems to be InfoPath form default behaviour. It can happen with "And" too. Change or to  alternatively or another word except or. Alternatively take it out completely.
