How would I submit the form to specific document library (based on a value the user selects from a drop down)

I am developing a form template in which the user would select his department from a drop down. I would like to use that value chosen in the drop down to submit the form to its document library. I have 6 departments

and we would really like to submit the form to the appropriate library instead of having to maintain 6 different versions. How can this be done and / or is there any code that will do it. thanks

Publish the form template as a content type and have each department form library add it as a content type. Then, when you update the form template, all libraries will get refreshed.

Three ways to route the form:

    1. SharePoint Workflow - copy item and then delete item
    2. Different submit data connections - add 6 rules with different conditions based on the dropdown values and different submits
    3. qRules allows for dynamically changing the url for one submit data connection (slightly better than 2 since you don't have to have 6 different submits)

    Best of luck,

    Patrick
