 Hello Friends,

 I am hoping someone here can help me figure out what I am doing wrong... What I am looking to do is to create a site workflow that takes very basic information via a form and places this into a Word document and stores these Word docs in a document library.

I have uploaded a webpage with 25 or so images of the steps I used to create this workflow

 I've done this sort of thing in SP 2010, Although I've not used the Initation step, my details come form and InfoPath form.

In the string builder - I had to give the full path of the site/library/DocumentName.docx

Append the document extension i.e. .docx to the file name and include a fuller name for the path, then see what happens.

Also, if you add a new document without the workflow creating it, are your fields showing values within the word document?

To answer your last question first, i have no problems adding a document without the workflow process creating it... I will try your advice and modify the path name, but the weird thing is...  as described in the setup process, the document takes that name of the information entered. i/e, form contains two fields... first and last name... when the document is created the name of the document is concatenated together... and the document gets created in the correct library.

I will let you know the results from modifying the path a little more

I am kind of getting closer but still no resolution.

Found this on Microsoft's website. It explains the exact issue I am encountering. However, there resolution steps do not resolve the issue...
