Hi there,

I have a repeating table that is pulling data in from a sharepoint list/secondary data source - the data displayed in the repeating table is filtered (done via a conditional formatting rule).  This is working fine.

However, I need to add a drop down field to the repeating table against each row for the user to populate/select.  It is letting me add a drop down field to the table, so long as I bind it to a drop down field in my sharepointlist data source - however it's not letting me set the default value of the drop down box and I therefore can't save it/add it.

 Can anyone help or advise why this might be happening?

 What happens if you set the default value via on the SharePoitn list itself?

 

I get a pop up that says 'You selected the field where the control saves data.  Instead, select the field where the control looks up data'   It seems I can only have data returned and can't use one of the fields to write to.
