SOAP to Repeating table not working.

    Hi Guys,

I am currently manually migrating IPFS2007 administrator approved templates to IPFS2010. On the whole the porcess has been very easy, I have repating field issues in forms library but this is not an issue as the forms still function as expected. I have one form that consumes a SOAP web service Secondary data connection and renders this in a repeating table in a section which can be hidden. Unofrtunatly in SPS2010 this is not rendering at all whereas the same form in IPFS2007 works fine. the form section is working as expected, when I hit a button the section appears and when hit the button again the section dissappears. Unfortunatly there is nothing in the section. I now the webservice can be called from that server as I re-setup the scendary connection and as this requires sample data to retrieve the schema I know it's firing.

Basically the web method tales an account name and fires back a dataset.

In the open and save (form load) the set field and query rules are all present and correct.

So my question is, is there something fundementally different about IP2010 and IP2007 in terms of this kind of operation?

The IP2010 articles I have seem to indicate that what I have done is correct so I'm really stuck!!

I tried pulling the secondary onto the page again and left the RT headers so I could see what was happening, it looks like no data is comming back from the web service because I can see the headers and there's no data.

    Cheers

    Ok My bad,

When using IPFS2007 and filtering fields based AD atributes the "Refresh Value when formula is reculated" check can be left checked and attributes don;t get overwritten when opening the form. In IPFS 2010 this must be unchecked or you will see your own attributes when you open the form and they will get overwritten when saving (submitting). All the forms I has migrated so far show these attributes on the forms surface whereas this one still required the data element but it was not required to be displayed. So all it was, was this bloomin check box on the element in question and voila! one to wacth out for!!!
