InfoPath Dev

Hi all - truly a newbie here but having a great time in Infopath.

My question is this:

I am trying to sum two fields.

One of the two fields is originally populated with a dollar amount when a dropdown list at the beginning of the form is populated.

I believe that is where my problem is coming into play.

I'm using Infopath 2010.

I created a third field and placed a formula there to sum the two but nothing happens.

Any insight?

Welcome to InfoPath.

To add values of two fields, proceed to the properties section of the Sum field, click the fx button of the default value, click the insert field of group button, and select the fields you want to add. Lastly, Insert a + sign inbetween the two fields.
