Using Win7, IP2010. I have a Horizontal Region that I have set the Width to "Auto". Inside this region I have Repeating Section with "Repeat horizontally" selected. This section's Width is set to 912px.
When I go into Preview to check the operation of this setup I press the "Insert" tagline and expect the section to be repeated to the right of the original. It does not, it repeats below the original. If I set the Horizontal Region's width to 9100px the Section repeats as expected...to the right of the original.
If the width on a Text Box is set to "Auto" it works as I expected the Horizontal Region to.
I came across this while trying to fix another problem: If I have the Horizontal Region set to "9001px" wide, the Repeating Section "912px" wide, and a Combo Box that is wider than half the page; When a choice is made in that Combo Box in Preview mode the form (screen view inside the scroll bars) shifts to the left about 1/5 the width of the page.
Consequently after every choice made using that repeating Combo Box I have to scroll the page back to the right. So that the first two columns of the Repeating Table can be seen. This does not happen if the Horizontal Region's Width is set to "920px", or less, or "Auto".
Is there a way to get the "Auto" setting for the Horizontal Region to work the way a Text Box does?
When the Page Width is set very High (9005px) and the Combo Box choice is made why does the form (screen view) shift to the left? It acts as though it is trying to auto center the page or is applying a margin or similar to the right side of the form. What is actually happening and is there anyway to change, remove or otherwise adjust the cause of this effect?
