InfoPath Dev

I am creating a form using InfoPath 2013 and publishing to an Office 365 SharePoint 2013 form library. Inside the form, I want to display the current user's name as well as use it in the filename to publish the form.

If I use the username() InfoPath function, I get a funky value like "i:0#.f|membership|[email protected]" and I've found I can't use the GetUserProfileByName method because it is broken in Office 365. http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2007/04/05/InfoPath-_2D00_-Get-the-current-user-without-writing-code.aspx http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2674193

How can I get the current user's display name?

I found a solution for this by using the following:

• InfoPath Form Web Part
• SharePoint Client Object Model
• Script Editor WEb Part
• Query String Filter Web Part
