I have an application that requires saving embedded scanned image files within an InfoPath Filler form. This usually works very well.
Users typically edit the file on their laptops, embed images, save the file, then upload to SharePoint 2010 document library.
All good so far.
When a 'large' file is opened for editing in InfoPath directly from the document library, and then is saved by the user, this save can report an error:
"InfoPath cannot save the form.
The OnSaveRequest function returned a value indicating that the save failed.
The specified location cannot be accessed. Check that the location you entered is correct and that you have appropriate permissions."
This occurs roughly one minute after the save attempt starts. Sometimes the save attempt succeeds, sometimes it actually does fail.
The size of the file varies depending on the network speed between the client and the server. Slow networks it can time out for a 10MB file, for fast connections it is closer to 60MB.
On the local server a file of 100MB causes the error, but the file is saved successfully.
This seems like a timeout issue. I have increased IIS webconfig httpRuntime executiontimeout and shutdowntimeout to 300 seconds each, but this has no effect.

Anyone know how to tune around this?
