Setting group to person/group picker in Infopath Form Fails in Production Environment

have an InfoPath 2010 form which is published to a form library in SP2010. I have added a Person/Group Picker control in the form which is intended to show only a particular group of people in my SP Site. For this I have selected the SharePoint Group property of the control and everythign set working in my development environment.

But when I deploy this to production or other environment, the group setting seems to be not working there. I heard this control stores the Group by Id and not by the name and may the reason for this failure. Is there any workaround for this situation?

    thank you beforehand.

    Thank you

i did a work around to get this requirement work. This is basically depend on site url and group id. So, first identify the group id from ur destination server. say for example it is 25. You have to identify a group in ur dev server with 25 id. if not there try to get it by creating group, deleting it and creating again and deleting it until u get group id 25. I am doing this as i didn't find any way to create group with required id. Now put site url in respective field in person or group control property. Next, in General tab, select group name that has 25 id. Now, come to the before tab and remove the URL. once you removed the URL, the general tab will be disabled completely. No worries at all. even the functionality will work. now publish it in dev and check if it is showing users from required group (id: 25) now deploy this in ur other server and check. FYI, the OOB groups like View, designer, approvers will have same ID's in most of the site. you can use these group if your requirement permits. that's all for today :)
    Thank you
