InfoPath Dev

I know this has been discussed several times on here before. But in looking through those posts, I'm still unable to solve my issue.

 The problem I am having is that I need to take my current view and submit it as an email. I don't need to attach the xml as the recipient does not have InfoPath.

 I currently have my Data Connection configured as "Send the form data as an attachment". The Form options are configured as follows:

• Email Attachments - Always Send the current view and the following attachments > Form Data
• Security Level - Automatically determine security level

First off, I want to make sure I have my email options correct. I don't need to send the XML. However, I have attached several PDF files to the email. Am I correct in selecting to attach the form data, so that it includes the PDF files??

The second, and possibly more pressing issue, is that when the email composed, the Outlook email window which opens is always coming up blank without any of the form being displayed in the body of the email.

Hopefully, I'm just missing something simple.

Hi - are you using the same version of InfoPath and Outlook? Both 2010?

You don't need to include the Form Data since your recipient doesn't have IP. But I don't think the email will include the attached PDF files.

Are you changing views right before sending the email? That can also cause blank email.

I am not. IP is 2010 and Outlook is 2007.

Bummer. I was hoping that the email would include the PDF files. 

I am not changing the view at all. The button simply is on the bottom of the current view and when clicked, the form is submitted through the email data connection.

 Your blank email issue is from IP 2010 with Outlook 2007, unfortunately. You'll need both the same version.
