    Hi,

     

    I'm very new to InfoPath (hadn't even heard of it until about a month ago!). I have set up a form with a submit button that sends the form as an attachment to a distribution list. So far so good. However, I would like to be able to specify the "From" field rather than the users log on. Is this possible or will I have to send to an inbox and have that auto forward?

    Welcome to InfoPath!

    Due to security restrictions, you cannot specify the From alias. You could write some code to override the default, but it's probably easier just to do the forward.
