InfoPath Dev

One of our computer, out of about 80 or so, is giving this error:

"Infopath cannot create a new, blank form.
Infopath cannot open the form.  To fix this problem, contact your system administrator."

When I click on details it says:

http://*servername*/qdabrawebservice/forms/omc_synopsis/template.xsn

Generally I see more information in the details, but not this time.

All other users are working fine, just this one computer is giving us trouble.

I have checked the internet options and added the server to the local intranet and trusted sites. I also cleared the form from the cache by opening InfoPath and clicking "Remove this form" for all forms that were there, which was only one.

Anything else I can try?

Make sure the site is not in the trusted sites. That won't work if the form has code. It must be in Local Intranet.

Try repairing Office install. That might do it.

Thanks for the tips. I tried both, but that still did not fix the problem. Works if the program is "run as" administrator, or if administrator is logged in. More details, System: Windows XP sp3, IE8, InfoPath 2003 What else can I do?

Sorry for the delay over the Thanksgiving holiday I'm not sure what the problem is. It's possible that the computer has some special IE configuration preventing the form from accessing DBXL on your local intranet. You should check IE permissions. I've seen this issue on a few random computers as well.  With infopath 2007.  I did notice that on the ones that weren't working, in the About Microsoft Office InfoPath window, the ones that worked had: Microsoft Office Infopath 2007 (12.0.####.####) SP2 (12.0.####.####)  < these last four numbers were the same on the ones that worked, but they were different on the ones that didn't.  Maybe a slightly older version of Infopath was installed? It doesn't seem like that would be an issue.

It made me think of running office diagnostics though.  That didn't resolve the issue.  So the next best thing - Reinstalled Office on the few computers with the issue.  It resolved it for a while, now it's back. 
If you find a solution, please post it. I'll do likewise.
