Add New Fields in InfoPath Task Form

Hello all, I am not sure where to put this question since I'm a new user to SharePoint and InfoPath, so I guess I'll put this in the Newbie Questions section? Please move this question if you feel that it does not belong here. So I've been stepping through the SharePoint Designer Approval Workflow very slowly. First, I created a workflow in a SharePoint library to run when a new item is created. This list workflow has an Approval workflow in it. I am now at the point where Designer created a Task Form for me that opens for users during the approval process. I can click on this default form in designer and it opens up in InfoPath where I can edit it. There's a list of fields for this task already, but how do I customize this form to provide the users with more information? None of the fields listed in the task form are what I want. I would like to include specific information related to that task from the library item that was created to first kick off the approval tasks, but these fields don't seem to have what I want. Is there a way to reference the information from the library/list in the task form? Thank you in advance for all your help.

You can add a custom column to the Tasks list to store the "formID" and have your workflow copy the ID from the current item in the form library when it is running. Then, you could change your task form to query the form library and pull data out of the promoted properties to display. Should be 30 minutes tops.
