THe InfoPath form (2010) opens in the browser from SharePoint 2010.  Most users have no problems downloading files that have been attached to the form using the attachment control by previous users.  However, I have one user, who is one of our approvers, who can not download the attached files (.xlsx and .pdf).  He doesn't get an error message or anything, it just seems to time out. However, no one else has this problem. He is using IE8.

He can make changes to the form since he has contributor permissions to the library, just can't get the attached files to download.

I would have him sign in to another machine and try from there.

If the download works, then at least you've narrowed it down to an issue on a specific machine.

Egads.  He'd installed Google Toolbar and didn't see the cursor change to say the pop-up blocker had activated.  He disabled it, and it works fine.
