I am trying to create a form (using the SharePoint List Form Template) where different sections are shown / hidden depending on the answer chosen in a dropdown box. The first question on the form asks you to choose the "Type" and the choices are 'External' or 'Internal'. I have created a section for 'External' and the relevant questions and a section for 'Internal' with the relevant questions.
I have tried to set these up using conditional formatting so that when 'External' is chosen, the 'Internal' section is hidden and vice versa but I can't get it to work. I tried setting up the form using a Blank Form template and it works ok - I just can't seem to get it right when using the SharePoint list template.
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong? If anyone can walk me through the steps to set this up, or point me to a link on this, I would be really grateful.
