InfoPath Dev

Hi all,

 I have a InfoPath 2010 web brower form, no custom code. An error blocks me from succussful publishing to SharePoint.

Error message stating: The following expression could not be parsed because of a syntax error or because it uses an undefined namespace prefix or unsupported funtion: subtring(my:RequestStatus, 1, 2) <2

I went through all the rules set on fields and buttons, but not able to find this expression. I also tried to delete everything (all fields and all views), but this error message still exist...

 Has anyone met the same problem or could help me figure out what went wrong? Thanks.

 

I wonder if the XSN is somehow corrupt, and then the solution would be to extract the source files and look thru those to find the issue and correct it.
