Good morning/evening to all,

 (New to the forums and infopath)

I looked within the forum and was unable to locate a answer to my question (which maybe do to the fact that its pretty simple); unfortunetly I'm new to infopath and can't seem to figure this out.

I have a drop down called Courier: FedEx, DHL, UPS, UPS International, US Cargo

I also have a text field called Tracking number. What I am trying to accomplish is to change the string-length based on the drop down selection. Such as:

 If FedEx = 12

DHL = 10

UPS = 18

UPS International = 11

US Cargo = 15

Anything outside of this range should not go through the submission process. The form was created within Infopath, sitting in Sharepoint at this time.

Any quidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated and if this has already been answered please provide a link and I apologize ahead of time.

 Hi - so, you want to change the validation on the tracking number field based on the selection from the drop down? Sample attached - save it locally, right click and select design from saved location - then you can preview, take a look at the validation on the tracking number field, etc.
