Workaround to "Include data for the active form only" issue in repeating field

I have the same problem as this thread explains: http://answers.flyppdevportal.com/categories/sharepoint2010/sharepoint2010customization.aspx?ID=5cf6b0a9-b5c4-40c0-8499-1691ae6bcc5c Basically I have to select "Include data for the active form only" in my data connection to workaround the version history bug, but this causes a "comments" field to show entries from all other forms in the library (it is a repeating field using a secondary data source from my form library). This is obviously undesirable, and I want functionality for both the current item's comments only and the version viewing. The second to last post suggests a solution but I'm not able to get it to work. Can anyone explain how to only query the repeating section for the current form's entry?

    Hi AlexK,

Sorry, but I'm unfamiliar with the technique discussed on that site and don't have time to test it for you. Have you considered replying on that site?

    Thanks!
