Which SQL Server data type to select?

    Hello,

My InfoPath form is used to submit data to a table in a SQL Server database.  I have a multi-line text box for the user to enter remarks, and would like to increase the maximum length to something above 255 characters (at least 2500 would be nice).  I converted the appropriate column's data type from NVARCHAR(255) to TEXT, and now I get a note in the Submit Status of my form's data connection summary that says, "Not allowed - One or more of the columns in the data source has a large binary data type such as text, ntext, hyperlink, or image. Large binary data types are not supported."

Which SQL Server data type would be appropriate for this? What adjustments, if any, do I need to make to my form in order to obtain the desired result?

    Many thanks for your help!

    Hello,

Never mind, after some more research, I tried NVARCHAR(4000), and it worked.
