InfoPath forms and SharePoint List Default Forms

Hi I am new to infopath forms, and here is my problem... i have a sharepoint list which have 3 SP default forms (New,Edit,Display) i just need to alter the display form without changing the others... when i choose use infopath to design forms option and done designing and publish it the New and Edit forms are changing to the same design as the display form which is not good because display form will be used for printing as official report after some searching with in SP i found that there is only one Template... can you advice me what to do...?

    Hi SadStory and welcome,

I'm a little confused. As far as I know, you can't have 3 forms in a default SharePoint list. Maybe I am missing something special about list forms, but if you choose to design with InfoPath, you can create with three views and add rules to switch to them based on the status of the form. That's relatively easy to do. Maybe that is the right approach. If you really have just three "views" on that list and you perplexed as to why the form is now saving rows to all 3 views it's likely because the field you are using to filter the views isn't being set correctly.

That's all I can think of.

    Good luck
