    Publishing updated Filler Form error

    Hi there,

I have made a change to a Filler form, published it as always, but afterwards the fields in the SharePoint list are all empty. If I open the existing forms (published before the change), save them again the list values are visible again. What am I doing wrong when I publish the form after a change? Any suggestions how I can prevent this?

    thanks!

The only thing that comes to mind is that there was a schema change, and therefore the promoted properties are somehow broken. Then, once you open and resubmit the form, the form gets upgraded to the latest schema and the promoter properties are pushed out correctly.

Was there a schema change when you made changes to the form? Were the promoted properties added/removed or modified?

    Hi Ernesto :-)

I am not quite sure, but this could very well be the case...I designed the initial form (as a sort of prototype), but then our support team took over to tidy up, add functionality, etc...any suggestions how to fix this?

    Thanks!

Is there a backup copy of the form somewhere? As you design InfoPath forms, I would strongly suggest you keep a "previous known good" form template (XSN) stored, for cases like this. Hopefully you have one somewhere?
