The workflow is set up on the library so if FormState = complete then copy current item to complete forms and delete current item from the original libray.. when i was creating the form this all worked as it should, form state would be complete and the form would move. now that the form has gone live in the organisation, the rest of the workflow works, it just doesnt do anything when it becomes complete and should move library

if i start the workflow off manually on each of the forms that should have moved, it will work and move the form - it just wont do it on itself.. anyone got any ideas what this could be? thanks

Do the users that are initiating the workflow (when the FormState is set to complete) have permission to delete the forms from the original library?

Since you know that you can initiate the workflow manually, what happens if you perform the operation to set the FormState to complete?  Does it more then?

I didnt think about permissions- the users have permission on the original library but not on the library that the forms move to - so ive given them 'contribute' permissions on this library and hopefully this does the trick.
