Can InfoPath filler forms submit and receive from web services? What happens when you try to submit without an internet connection?

My goal is to design InfoPath forms that can submit data to a SQL database via web services but also pull data from it to use as dropdown choices in the forms. The problem is that the places that these forms will be filled out will not have stable internet connections. What would be the best solution for this? Thanks.

I'm sure Qdabra is excellent software and is a reliable company but the answer I am looking for is one that would point me in the right direction of solving the problem myself. I have development experience with C++ and ASP.Net but I am naive when it comes to SOAP and REST webservices and I am unaware of what happens when a form hooked up to a web service is submitted when there is no internet connection. Can the form be saved locally and then resent when the internet comes back?

I believe what will happen is that the form won't submit - depending on you are handling for errors, etc. with your web service. I think I'd use to code to determine whether the form could submit and if it could not, I'd force the user to save locally instead.... Of course, this means that once the user is back online you'd have to trust them to open the form up and re-submit - so that has a human component that is prone to failure. I'm not sure what could be done when the machine was back online. I wonder if there might be something in the Microsoft Sync Framework that you'd be able to leverage?
