Creating a table on a SQL database server using InfoPath 2007

I have been working now for a long while with InfoPath and I have found a challenge.. I created an  SQL database and i wanted to submit information fon an infopath form that i created to that database. My question is: since i created this form, i wanted it to submit the information to this database. How is InfoPath going to create a table and how is it going to pick the parameters for each column after submission of the form? I need help with this because I don't know wether i have to make a table in the database in order to be able to submit the InfoPath form.

    Thanks!

I believe it is next to impossible to answer you since it is incomprehensible what you are writing

Created "SQL database" with which tables? where and how (What do you mean under "SQL database"? Which DBMS?)?

Submit from where to where what and how (this is usually is defined in data connection wizard  to a database)?

sorry about that.. but thanks because I didn't noticed that I caused confusion with my post My manager created a database in SQL with no tables. What I want to know is when an InfoPath form is being submitted to a database, does it create a table in the database with the right parameters? Or do I have to create a table in the database to submit this data?

    Hi p1024,

Yes, you will need to have the table created in the database with all of the required columns.
Be sure to have your InfoPath field data types match up with the corresponding columns in the table to ensure that there are no exceptions raised on insert.

And just to clairfy a little further - to use the built-in submit, you'll want to base the InfoPath form off the table. So when you go to create the new form, select the Database option.

Oh, so I should start creating my form after creating my table to have the built-in submit button...

Im going to try this to see what happens. I let you know when it works, guys!

    Thanks a lot
