When attempting to install Qdabra Query Builder I receive the following error:

RegForm Custom Action Failure

Cannot create InfoPath.ExternalApplication object. Error code = 0x80080005.

Attached are screen shots of the dialogs and application windows that open during the installation process.

I have tried downloading the .msi package and ran it from my desktop with no success.

In order to install Query Builder (or any other Full Trust form), InfoPath needs to be closed. Also, check that there are no phantom infopath.exe processes running.

There was a phantom infopath.exe process running. I killed it.

I reattempted the install and received a different error. When InfoPath launched during the install the initial setup wizard ran, prompting for user name, initials, and update preferences.

I suspected this wizard may have thrown off the installation and reattempted. This attempt was successful.
