Hello,
I am using the "Collect Signatures" workflow within SharePoint 2010 where an Infopath form is used for the routing. From the email, the user clicks "Open this Task" and the Infopath form opens. However, within Infopath, there is another button that says "Open this task".....a window opens for the user to add comments (in which no problems occur) but when the user clicks "Sign" the following error is displayed:
Some rules were not applied.
When "Show Details" for this error is clicked, the following is then displayed:
An error occurred signing the document. The signature line may not be configured correctly or may have already been signed.
The weird part is that if the actual task is opened through SharePoint, the user has no trouble signing from the workflow Task list.
Can anyone help me on how to fix the problem within Infopath? I want to keep this workflow as simple as possible without directing the workflow users back to the task list just to sign off on the workflow.
