    Unable to Connect to data source using Windows 7 and IE 9.0

    I have some users in China,Inda and Singapore. Using Infopath client based application but they are unable to work.

    End users are getting "Cannot connect to data source' error while connecting using VPN. It worked fine for them when they had Windows XP installed.

    I am not sure if it is windows issue or Windows + VPN issue.

     

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    When the users receive "Unable to connect to data source", do they get any additional information? Maybe a "Show details" button?

    They get the following error:

    The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: [DB_TableName]
    InfoPath cannot run the specified query
    InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.
    InfoPath has encountered an error. The Operation failed.
