Form displaying user info from Service Account insteat of the logged on user

    Hello fellow InfoPath peoples,
I have an issue concerning the UserProfileService and it keeps me running in circles, hopefully you guys can help out.

I setup a data connection for user profile properties to automatically be drawn in to a InfoPath 2010 form according to the user who's logged on.
To make this possible I setup a data connection in InfoPath with the UserProfileService. Everything out of the box.

In a preview state in InfoPath I see all the profile properties from my account only after publishing I'm still logged on with the same account and then I only see the properties from the SharePoint account which is used to configure the User Profile Service Application (SSA).

    • I tried giving myself the same permissions in the UPS but still the service account is used for retrieval.
    • The security settings in the form options are set to "Domain", if I generate a self-signed certificate and use Full Trust I still get the user info from the service account.
    • In the Central Admin under General Settings >> Configure InfoPath services the "Authenticate to data sources (user templates)" and "Cross-domain Access for users where not checked. Even after checking No success.
    • The Web Application is plain vanilla NTLM (no claims or Kerberos are used).
    • My account is Farm Administrator and site collection admin but I have limited access on the server.

Hopefully one of you guys orb girls has an answer for me and want to be the weekly hero

    :-)

     Thanks in advance,
     Maarten
