    "Design this form" control

I am baffled by this. In Infopath version 2007, I could open the browser based form (xml file) in Infopath and there was a button that said "design this form".

How did get that in 2010 infopath?

We have a browser based form that is published to the sharepoint site and we no longer have the xsn file.  I can open the xml file in infopath 2010 filler but how do i design this form?

The designer and filler were separated into 2 shortcuts in 2010.  If you open the designer, you can design your form.  The filler will only let you fill out a form.  Makes sense right? :)

Alternatively, you can right click the xsn and click Design.  This will open up your form in the designer and you can continue to modify your template.

Maybe I did not explain clearly.

There is a web browser form on our sharepoint 2007 site with item (forms submitted by user)

    I have infopath 2010

I don't have the xsn file that was used to originally publish the form to the site.

In the old version of Infopath (2007), I could open the form xml file in infopath and there was a control called "Design this form".

In infopath 2010 that control is not there.

I can open the submitted form in filler, but how do i design it?

     got the answer.

If you don't have the xsn file, then go to the library settings, under Advanced Settings, there is an edit template link

That will open the form in design mode in infopath 2010
