hi

i have created a  Document Form Library in infopath and published its few columns too.

i have added dropdown items in danish language which have special characters like " Å " etc.

here is the descriptive image.

 

 it is showing perfect in the infopath document but when document is saved. the published column does not show the special chatacters :(

 how can i solve it.? :(

please guide me.

In Windows Server 2008/7

Control(Panel) (WIN+R)-->  "Clock, Language, and Region" --> 
Change Location --> tab "Administrative" --> under "Language for non-Unicode programs" click "Change system locale.." --> choose from drop-down-list "Danish (Denmark)"

Don't confuse it with "Currebt location:"

 under "Location" tab which is still "United States" if you have servers in US language. 

This is in Windows Server 2008. There are some small differences in other Windowses. For example in Windows XP:  
 Conttrol Panel==>Regional and Language Options==>Advanced. ==> Language for non-Unicode programs 

Write here if this helped. There are other options depending on whether I correctly grasped the context of your problem
