I built forms on a blank form template and now I was informed that I need to use a web service that will only allow 1 record at a time to be retrieved from our database. In a web service template it automatically has a run query button that will retrieve (or refresh the data) if another account number is entered. My question is: is there a way to create a run query button that can retrieve any account number that is entered on my existing forms (40 of them)? I have a Step By Step using microsoft infopath 2010 with microsoft sharepoint 2010 book and have tried what rthe book said on pages 241 - 251 with no positive results.
The same record is the only one that is retrieved
Can someone please help?
