infopath form read-only textbox, how to stop backspace key stroke

    Dear Friends,

I have a textbox which is set up as read-only field in infopath form.

The user wants to see if it is not editable and they try to use the backspace key from the keyboard to try to delete textbox value in the read-only textbox.

By doing so, the browser automatically goes back to the previous page.

How do I stop the backspace key beviour in read-only textbox? .

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I don't think stopping the backspace will be possible since thats the browser behavior that is taking over at that point.  Perhaps what you can do is make it not look like a textbox by either removing the borders or using a calculated value control instead.  Hopefully this will prevent users from thinking they can delete that value.  Hope this helps!
