    Run Query returns every record...

    Hello everyone.

    An Infopath(2007) form created from the Database template is returning every row whenever a specific record is requested in the Run Query section. This form uses a main source consisting of two tables linked by a unique id within a SQL database.  Table1 contains columns  dbname_id and  PII_data.   Table2 condatins Srvrdb_id and db_name.  'Run Query'  is linked to the queryField  'dbname'.  When a specfic dbname is entered and Run Query is select, every record in the database is displayed with the dbname field blank except for the record specifically requested which does display the dbname.  I expected to see only one record displayed.

    I have created a few similar forms previously which display only the record requested.   The only difference between the forms is the main source.  The old forms main source contained one table,  the new form contains two tables. I must be missing something simple but I don't know what.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The following is the SQL code generated by the Data Connection Wizard.

    shape
     {select "dbName_ID","PII_data" from "dbo"."Data_Dictionary" as "Data_Dictionary"} as "Data_Dictionary"
     append
      ({select "SrvrDB_ID","dbName"  from "dbo"."SERVERS_DATABASES" as "SERVERS_DATABASES"}
       relate "dbName_ID" TO "SrvrDB_ID") as "SERVERS_DATABASES"

    thanks

    Re: Run Query returns every record...

    I put a filter on the dbname in the repeating table section and this solved the problem of every record loading.   Not sure why this was necessary since the other forms I created work without a filter.

    thanks
