Dear Abby, I mean InfoPathDev:

 Why, when I clear a border in a table row containing 2 or more columns and reset to an outer border only, eventually a vertical border hoarder appears to divide the row into columns.  I fix and save.  All is well for a bit but it comes back.

Why?????? so annoying.  I have to continue to go back over and over again to adjust.  I clear all and reapply.  I clear individually and reapply.  I've done it all. 

Are you seeing this problem in the browser or client?  If its the browser then this doesn't surprise me as I've seen this before.  I don't have a hard fast technique that works all the time, but usually clearing everything and reapplying the borders will work for me.  If your view isn't too complicated I would try recreating the view from scratch and see if that does the trick.

Client...I'm clearing all and removing columns where its doable to reduce the number of times to reset borders.  The views are too complex to start over...but thanks for giving me a shout.
