How do I impelement the custom search in infopath

Hi all, I want to implement the sharepoint user search like lookup in the repeating table of infopath, the search data will come from SQL table or views(user can search the data using any column of the table or views). After searching the data in repeating lookup like custom search, once user double click or select the particular search data that should be placed in textbox of repeating table. What is the best way to implement this in infopath 2010.....Please help me somebody.

Sounds like a combination of filters and rules should do the trick for you.  You can create a filter on the repeating table in the properties that will filter out only entries where a particular field equals your search field.  Then you can have buttons for each row that you can click to "select" which will run rules to set the values of that row to some fields you specify.

Another great option for you is to use our DBXL QueryDB web service.  This will let you query the database for your search and will only return the data that matches the criteria you specify.  There is alot more control here than filters, so perhaps something to consider.
