I am trying to apply the double eval to get the display value of a multiple select field. the one example I found used a data source that was on the form. I am using a secondary data souce external to the form. although my formula does not error, I am not getting any values either
xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(xdXDocument:GetDOM("AccountTypes")/options/option[value = /my:myFields/my:AccountTypes/my:AccountType]/displayname, 'concat(., "; ")'), "..")
My multiple select uses an xml file for it data source. in my code I write to the xml file to populate the selections. My data source name is AccountTypes.
this is the xml file node structure
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<options>
<option><value/><displayname/></option>
<option><value/><displayname/></option>
</options>
the displayname is text, and the value is the item ID. All I need is the text values written to another field.
any ideas, what am I missing?
I got the idea from this post:
