Repeact Section data from another sharepoint list controlled by a dropped down overwrite

I have one form, "beta" .  It is basically does a reports from another sharepoint list, "alpha".  In my repeat section in "beta",  I have dropdown called "personnel".  Then I have a series text fields ("JanP...DecP") to the side that calculate the number of audits the "personnel" has done for a given month from the "alpha" list.  I use "default value"  area to do the calcuation in "JanP...DecP".  It works great.  But when I add a row it and select another "personnel" it overwrites the above row also.

Any thoughts on how to keep the data aligned,

    Andrew

For your series of text fields, are they within the context of the repeating section?  That is, is the field under the repeating group node in your data source?  As long as the default value for this field, is using values within that repeating node it will only use the value for the current node.  My guess is that you just have to tweak your formula a little bit to make sure the context is correct.

All the fields,  JanP...DecP and the dropdown"personnel are in the repeating field.
