Web browsable infopath form to kick off a workflow

    Hi,

I have a web browsable infopath form and when i click on the submit button i want to initiate an approval workflow based on the entered values in the form. Once it is approved i want to save the entered details to the database.

I have a WCF service with a data contract to capture the entered details in the form.

I am struck at sending this data contract to the approval workflow,.

Any ideas how to do this??

    Thanks,

    Prashanth

    Hi Prashanth:

You can create a custom workflow using SharePoint Designer. Do you have SharePoint Designer installed?

I don't know what you're using to submit to your database, but the easiest way is to use a web service, such as Qdabra's Database Accelerator.

    Hi,

I am using a WCF service to submit my data.

I have SP Designer installed, but i want to programmatically define an approval wokflow to work on the data that is being submitted.

    Thanks
