I'm sending an email to various people asking to approve a form. I'm beginning with Set Variable:Formlink to [%Workflow Context:Current Site URL%]/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=[%Workflow Context:current Item URL%]&Source=[%Workflow Context:Current Site URL%]&DefaultItemOpen=1. I add [%Variable: Formlink%] (using the 'Add or Change Lookup] feature and the email gets sent with the link to the form in the body. The problem is that if there are any spaces in the SharePoint library name or the id of the item, the hyperlink created is not correct the hyperlink is ended at the first space. See the body of the resultant email below:

Got it. All that I had to do was enclose the [%Variable: Formlink%] in quotes and I get the full hyperlink.

I tried your solution for name with spaces. It seemed it shows properly in hyperlink; but, when I clicked the link, it would not bring you to the form. It says "The form has been closed" instead.

When I looked at the link in "view source", it is not encoded for spaces in the name. The following in the hyperlink for form with name "CCRF New 78":

http://tormossid1:13333/forms/procurement/CardReq/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=/forms/procurement/CardReq/CorpCard/CCRF New 78.xml&Source=http%3A%2F%2Ftormossid1%3A13333%2Fforms%2Fprocurement%2FCardReq%2FCorpCard%2FForms%2FAllItems%2Easpx&DefaultItemOpen=1

It is supposed to be like:

 I am using SharePoint 2007.

I'm using SharePoint 2010 and am very new to it (as well as InfoPath 2010). My link was created using [%Variable: Formlink%] in the body of an email created as a workflow step to create the hyperlink. Once I enclosed it in quotes (i.e. "[%Variable: Formlink%]") the entire link was underlined. I know that this probably doesn't help you, but let me poke around and if I find anything new, I'll get back to you.
