Good Morning,

I have a repeating table with 4 columns (Name, date, Description and value) I would like to know if is possible to populate one second repeating table dinamically with to columns(Name and value).

The second table needs to group the column Name and sum the column Value.

Ex:

Repeating Table 1

Name          Date                  Description         Value

 Name 1      11/02/2012       Description 1        100

 Name 1      12/02/2012       Description 2         50

 Name 2      1302/2012        Description 3         80

Repeating Table 2

Name          Value

 Name 1      150

 Name 2       80

Any ideas?

Sounds doable, but you'll likely need some qRules functionality that isn't offered out of the box to accomplish this.  I'm thinking you can do some logic to calculate the sum and then use the insert and delete commands to manage the second repeating table.

Are the values/names in repeating table 2 meant to autopopulate, or user input?

The table 2 will be autopopulate, I tought in the event_change from table 1.

Hi - no need to create a second table to summarize data - you can do this with expression boxes and conditional formatting using your original repeating node. Here's one sample.
