I have an Infopath 2010 web based form published to a Sharepoint 2010 site. When a user submits or edits a form through the site, I have it set to submit the data to a Sharepoint list, and also to email the form as an attachment to a particular address. All works well, until a user gets the form in their email and try to edit it. After editing, they click submit and get the following error message:
"The form cannot be submitted because of an error.
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
Some rules were not applied
Infopath cannot submit the form.
An error occured while the form was being submitted
The form does not contain any new data to submit to the data source".
Any suggestions?
The only rules I have in the Infopath is to check that one field isn't blank if another field was set to "Other", and then the rule to submit the form to both sharepoint and email.
Thank you in advance; my boss put this on me with a virtually impossible deadline and I'm trying to at least make *some* progress to show him. Keep your fingers crossed :)
