Update Forms Library with CAML and Web Service - is that possible? I have no problem to work with lists but for some reasons can't update library.
I don't get any error messages, it just doesn't update. Also if it's possible can I update just a single library field or all fields must be included in the CAML file?

Hi ESB1922 and welcome!

You mention "update forms library with CAML and Web Service" but what are you trying to do here? Libraries store XML data and you can't demote the column values into the XML unless you enable that in the Library Settings - try that. In general, this is not a best practice because it could break the XML and make it invalid (if a data type is incorrect) which would prevent the form from opening in InfoPath. Be careful.

I actually just found the answer. Libraries are like lists can be updated with CAML with one exception, only those columns can be updated which are not bound to Infopath fields. In other words if you create a library by publishing Infopath form, then you'll need to go to Sharepoint and add extra columns to the library and only those columns will be updateable with CAML
