I am fairly new to SP/InfoPath, but I would like to have a field in my form auto-pop a user's email based on their entry in the people picker field. Am I even on the right track?

Hi bmatthew,Yes this is possible however you would need to query the GetUserProfileByName web service to query the email and afterwards set the value of the email address field based on the selected user.
