InfoPath Dev

I am trying to create a journal form to allow staff to select a contact, create a note then attach that note to the contact notes section of that contact.

The form is mostly created and working but I need to add the Note Type, Date and Time information as well as the note to this one field when the form is submitted.  

Any thoughts?

Have you looked at a rule with an action to set the value of that field to the result of the xpath concat function? You could concat those fields together into a string that is set to the field.
