How can I set a view to "read only" based on the status of the form?

    Hi,

    Help, please.

First of all, I am running MOSS 2007 SP2 Enterprise in spanish and MS InfoPath 2010 in english.

I have a browser form with 2 views, one for the the inicitator (requestor) and one for the approver.

    What I need to do?

I need to set both views to read only once the form is approved.

How can I do that? Do I need to use code? :S

    Thanks in advanced

     Hi-

You don't need code for this. You can use rules.

You can add a field to your schema and call it Status. Then add on load rules to switch views according to the value of the Status field.

You can have multiple views, modify some of them so that they are read only, and then set up rules to switch to the correct view.

    Hope this helps.
