    InfoPath Filtering

Hello, I have 5 columns in SharePoint List. The column names are “PM”,  “Cycle”, “ProjectName”, “RTM Date” and “Modules”… In InfoPath I have created Data connection and I am starting to work on form.I have drop down menu to select “Cycle”, based on that field, It will filter ONLY the “PM” Names that are assigned to that cycle.Now.. this is where my problem is. Somehow when I select PM’s name from the list, I would like to be able to display “Project Names” and “RTM Dates” that are associated with that PM and under the right “Module”

Is this possiable and if so, how can I achive it?

Sample (what it should look like) attached

    Thank You for Looking

This sounds like a cascading dropdown scenario.  Basically you'll just need to add another filter for Project Names and RTM Dates based on the PM and Module.  If you have it already working for the Cycle, use the same logic except your condition will say only when it equals to PM and Module.

Cascading dropdown is not an option… there would be way to many clicks to display what I need (report I am trying to create will have 10rows and could potentially have 20 columns)

What I am trying to do is to only select Cycle and PMs name, based on that information, I would like to automatically display everything else. I know I can use data connection source and drag to my report as a repeating table and use conditional formatting to only display items based on Cycle and PM but the problem with that is report will get messy and really hard to see what I am trying to display :-(

Let me see if I understand your scenario.  You have a very large table/list and two columns in this table are PM and Cycle.  You want to pick the PM and Cycle from dropdowns and have a summary table display only the entries from that large list with only the PM and Cycle equal to what you have selected in the dropdowns.

    Is that correct?

That's correct (I have attached sample file in the initial post, what I am trying report to look like... I have only 2 rows currently but there is total of ~10 and it could be as many as 20 columns)

I would create a secondary data connection to the list and make sure to pull in all the fields that you need to display in your template. Then you can add a filter to your repeating table to only display rows that have PM and Cycle equal to the values that the user selected in the dropdowns.

Another method is to use queryFields.  With the secondary data connection, you can set the queryFields for PM and Cycle to your dropdown values and then create a rule to query the connection.  This should return only the rows that match your criteria and you can simply display this in a repeating table again.

This is all good stuff and I have done it, but the problem with repeating tables is that data is displayed Vertically (this is going to be Web Browser Form, therefore I cannot use horizontal repeating table) and I cannot match the template that I am tasked to create. Is there a way to map custom fields based on items in Repeating table?

You'll run into problems if you have static fields bound to a repeating control that can more rows than number of fields you have.  I don't think there is an easy solution that will allow you to grow your data horizontally.  Custom code is likely your best bet here and I personally am not familar with how you go about doing this through code.
