This really has me scratching my head and I'm not sure if there is any solution but I'm hopeful...
I have an Infopath list which needs to have the function for people to open a sharepoint list to fill out from it.
That part is relatively simple I have a hyperlink set up in my form which links to the 'New Form' view of the sharepoint list.
However once the SharePoint list is submitted I need to have a link in my Infopath form to that particular list item so that when people are reviewing the infopath form they can just click the link and open the relevant sharepoint list item.
I thought that I could achieve this through a SP workflow but the issue is that the Document library where my Infopath form is published is in a different subsite to the SharePoint list (but in the same site collection) so the sharepoint list I need does not come up as an option for selection in the SharePoint Workflow builder.
Is what I'm attempting to do possible?
